Brown Rice in Rice cooker?
I have a rice cooker.
I love it as I have used it a couple of times.
I normally cook my white rice 1 cup rice 2 cups water.
However, I was told to use brown rice as it is healthy for me.
What is the ratio for Brown Rice?
I want to cook 1 cup brown rice.
How much water do I put in? (cups)?
Any other ingrediants to make it cook nicely?
Tell me in the easiest way – tell me like I am in grade 3.
p.s. the Brand I have is NO Name brand.
All Natural Whole Grain Rice
“Parboiled Brown Rice”.
It says cooks in 15 minutes. Instructions said 1 cup rice and ad water until pot is full 3/4. Stove Top.
Please give me the Rice Cooker instructions.
Tell me like I’m in grade 3 cause I am a bad cook.
Thanks,
Jen
Well Jen, that is excellent you are interested in eating healthier and cooking but be careful in the kitchen, I would say about 2 cups water, Also if you look in the rice cooker it has measurements already, so if you are cooking 1 cup of uncooked rice add 2 cups of water, which would equal 3 cups of cooked rice! Good luck and don’t be afarid to ask people around you questions!
